Jerry Cantrell Thanks To Duff McKagan, Lzzy Hale, And More

Alice In Chains’ Jerry Cantrell posted a video on his Instagram in which he thanked his friends for helping him promote his recent musical project.
Jerry Cantrell rose to prominence with his successful career in the band Alice In Chains. Praised for his distinctive vocal style, the musician took the role of lead singer in the band following Layne Staley’s death in 2002. Along with playing for Alice In Chains, Cantrell also pursued a solo career. As for his solo efforts, he released the albums ‘Boggy Depot’ in 1998 and ‘Degradation Trip Volumes 1 & 2’ in 2002.
As a third solo project, Jerry Cantrell started working on a new album on January 24, 2020. He then began the recording process of ‘Brighten’ on March 10, 2020, and announced the album’s completion on March 4, 2021. Following that, he released the first single from the album, ‘Atone’ on July 29, 2021. Furthermore, ‘Brighten’ will hit the record stores on October 29, 2021.
As the release date is getting closer, Jerry Cantrell used social media to excite the fans more with the help of his fellow musicians and friends. Prior to the release of a song of the same title with the album, ‘Brighten,’ he shared a series of short video clips on his Instagram in which his friends read some inscriptions. The friends who helped him included Fonda Shae, Lzzy Hale, Eloy Morales, Duff McKagan, Pyro Mike, W. Earl Brown, Danah Denice, Dave Navarro, Sean Behr, Lola Colette, Aleksandra Kurczewska, and Sean Kinney.
Recently, Cantrell shared another video on his Instagram to thank his friends for helping him with the ‘spoken lyric countdown’ for ‘Brighten.’ He then stated they did a great job and made his musical project a living, breathing piece of work.
