James Hetfield joined a ‘not so heavy metal’ New Year’s party with his girlfriend Adriana Gillett.
As Metallica’s tour recently ended, the frontman was spotted in the photos shared by Gillett. They celebrated the new year with fun clothes and glasses with a low-key party with their friends.
“Happy New Year’s! We celebrated the end of an incredible year surrounded by friends and family, with great food, music, and laughter,” Adriana wrote in the caption. “It was a perfect way to say goodbye to 2024 and embrace the beginning of a fresh chapter.”
She went on to say, “Today, I took a moment to reflect on the blessings the past year brought—the moments of joy, growth, health, and love that we can all hold close to our hearts and be grateful for.”
“Looking into 2025 may we all have hope for what this new year brings to dream bigger, love harder, make bigger differences in people’s lives, and not just for ourselves, but for those around us. May everyone choose to spread kindness and encouragement to everyone!” Gillett further shared.
She concluded the post, writing, “To everyone who has been part of my life, thank you for the joy and meaning you bring. And to those far away or no longer with us, know that you are deeply loved and missed. Cheers to a kick a** 2025!”
Adriana has been sharing herself and Hetfield lately. They wore matching outfits at Metallica’s Helping Hands show. Adriana shared on Instagram how special it was to watch Hetfield perform and be surrounded by supportive people. She praised the event’s mission to give back through music.
Hetfield divorced his wife, Francesca Tomasi, in 2022 after 25 years, but they separated on good terms. He and Gillett were first seen together in April last year, but her identity was revealed a month later.
