Jack Osbourne opened up about the past six months and the events that led to the shutdown of Osbourne Media House in a new video posted on YouTube.

“I started ‘Osbourne Media House’ on just an idea,” shared the youngest child of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. “I saw the way media was going, how TV was drying up – It is drying up. I’m not an actor. I am not a musician. TV’s changing. The money just isn’t there anymore, and the vision that is ‘Osbourne Media House’ was self-funded. So, my mom, myself, my father, we all put in funds to make this thing work. And if we’re being totally honest, we bit off more than we could chew.”

“It was a Behemoth, and we had to learn from our mistakes as we went along. And while we were learning from our mistakes, we were relying on information from other people about how do we grow this, how do we change the direction. Unfortunately, we didn’t change fast enough, and we hit a wall, and my parents made the decision.”

Jack recalled, “They were like, ‘Hey, listen. We don’t wanna keep financially dumping money into this because we don’t see this as something that makes sense for us right now.’ And that was purely based on work schedule for both of my parents, my dad’s health, and his ability to participate.”

“My sister enjoyed it. She liked participating in the podcast, but she’s got a baby. She’s got a family. She wants to kinda focus on that,” he continued. “My mom had a lot of commitments elsewhere. So, it became very difficult to kind of corral everyone to one place to create the content that we needed.”

Jack, his parents, and his sister, Kelly, hosted ‘The Osbournes’ podcast under Osbourne Media House. Since October 2023, the 39-year-old has also led his own podcast series, ‘Ghosts & Grit with Jack Osbourne.’

Though Osbourne Media House is no longer active, the Osbournes aren’t stepping away from the spotlight entirely. Ozzy continues to host ‘The Madhouse Chronicles,’ discussing various topics from drugs to aliens with Billy Morrison. Meanwhile, Jack is getting ready to launch a Jiu-Jitsu podcast with two of his friends in the coming weeks.
