Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds Says He Needed Some ‘Me Time’

Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds broke his social media silence after a week and thrilled his followers about the future via Twitter.

Dan Reynolds and Imagine Dragons haven’t been active on the stage since their last show in Saudi Arabia during the Ad Diriyah E-Prix 2019. Since then, the fans have been waiting to see the band live or get a new record. Even though Imagine Dragons didn’t announce any shows like most bands this year, they released a brand new album last month, named ‘Mercury – Act 1.’

Thus, the fans started speculating that Imagine Dragons would soon announce a promotion tour for their new record. However, neither the band nor Dan made an announcement about when they would go back on stage yet. Besides that, Dan has been inactive on Twitter for the last week, and the fans wondered what happened to him.

Yesterday, the frontman broke his social media silence and revealed that he needed some time to take care of himself and his family, and that’s why he has been away from social media for a while. Reynolds also stated that he is so excited to see his fans once again, and he also surprised the community by live-singing ‘One Day,’ a track featured in their last album.

Dan Reynolds said:

“Alive and kicking over here (and screaming!). I can’t wait to see you soon. I haven’t forgotten about you, just needed to do me for a bit. Loving on my kids and girl. Missing our late nights together celebrating this thing called life. Stay confident and strong. I love you.”
