Following her divorce from Eddie Van Halen, Valerie Bertinelli married financial planner Tom Vitale. However, things didn’t work out between the two. After filing for separation from Vitale in 2021, Bertinelli recently announced that she is officially divorced with a video on her Twitter.
Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen were happily wed for over two decades, but Eddie’s struggle with substance addiction caused some problems between the two. Valerie was mainly disturbed by the fact that Eddie was battling cancer but continued smoking and using substances. The actress started dating Tom Vitale in 2004, three years after her divorce from Van Halen, but she is now once again happily divorced.
“I’m at the airport, about to go see Wolfie,” said Valerie Bertinelli in the video, having difficulty hiding her excitement. “My lawyer just called. The papers are all signed; they are about to be filed. On 11/22/22, I am officially f*cking divorced. Happily divorced. God, finally. It’s finally over.”
After six years of dating, Bertinelli announced her engagement to Vitale in 2010. They got married a year after the announcement in Malibu, California, and Eddie and Wolfgang also attended the wedding. However, Valerie filed for divorce in 2021 due to irreconcilable differences, but it took a year for the process to get finalized.
