Metallica Frontman James Hetfield made his debut on screen as an actor in the 2019 movie, ‘Extremely Wicked, Shocking Evil and Vile’ and he’s now a praised actor on top of being one of the greatest frontmen in music history.

‘Extremely Wicked, Shocking Evil and Vile’ is a biographical crime drama film about the life of the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy who was portrayed by the famous actor Zac Efron. The movie is based on Bundy’s former girlfriend Elizabeth Kendall’s memoir, The Phantom Prince: My Life with Ted Bundy, and Kendall herself is portrayed by the famous actress Lily Collins.

The movie holds a special place for Metallica fans since it’s the big-screen acting debut for the legendary frontman James Hetfield as the police officer Bob Hayward who first arrests Bundy. Despite appearing in other movies and tv shows, ‘Extremely Wicked, Shocking Evil and Vile’ marks the first time the iconic frontman portrayed a character.
