Here Is What Dave Grohl Thinks About Freddie Mercury

One of the biggest fan pages of Queen legend Freddie Mercury on Instagram, Freddie Mercury Club, shared a new post to show what Foo Fighters icon Dave Grohl thinks about Freddie Mercury.

Freddie is considered one of the best singers in history and probably the best entertainer. Unfortunately in November 1991, Freddie passed away at the age of 45 and left his legacy in this world at such a young age.

The admin of the page revealed what Dave Grohl thinks about Freddie Mercury, and according to Dave, every band should study Queen for what they did in Live Aid back in 1985 as he recalls the vocal warmup he did in front of the audience.

While Dave was showing how much impressed by Freddie’s performance, he also mentioned that Freddie could break the barrier between the audience and the musician. Also, he called Freddie the best frontman in the world.

Here is what Dave Grohl said:

“Every band should study Queen at Live Aid. If you really feel like that barrier is gone, you become Freddie Mercury. I consider him the greatest frontman of all time. Like, it’s funny? you’d imagine that Freddie was more than human, but…

You know how he controlled Wembley Stadium at Live Aid in 1985? He stood up there and did his vocal warm-ups with the audience. Something that intimate, where they realize, ‘Oh yeah, he’s just a f***ing dude.”
