Hayley Williams Celebrates Paramore’s Member-Favorite Album And Bids Farewell To Their Fans

Paramore’s founder and frontwoman Hayley Williams recently posted a couple of tweets on her Twitter account and celebrated the four-year anniversary of ‘Paramore’s favorite Paramore album’ and said goodbye to her fans.

As you know, Hayley Williams reached worldwide fame as the lead singer of the new generation rock band Paramore, and she surprised her fans in 2020 when she announced she’s started pursuing a solo career. She released her highly anticipated debut solo album ‘Petals for Armor‘ on May 8, 2020, and shortly after that, on February 5, 2021, she surprised her fans with her second album ‘Flowers for Vases / descanos‘ which was also well-received.

Her decision to pursue a solo career led to the rumors that Paramore had disbanded which she dismissed multiple times through her Twitter account. Recently, she posted a series of tweets, in which she celebrated the four-year anniversary of ‘After Laughter,’ Paramore’s fifth studio album which was released in 2017. The album was praised by critics who applauded the band’s progressive sound which reminded many of the 1980s new wave and synth-pop sound.

However, the album also has sentimental meaning for the band members as it’s the first record made after the return of drummer Zac Farro who’d left the band alongside his brother Josh in 2010, and the departure of former bassist Jeremy Davis, who left the band in 2015. Hayley described the record as ‘Paramore’s favorite Paramore album.’

She went on to thank their fans for their unending support and said that she had the best time when touring in support for ‘After Laughter.’ Then, she went on to announce that she’ll be gone for a while as she needs some time to find herself. She finished her messages by saying ‘See you on the other side‘ and bid farewell to her fans.

Here’s what Hayley Williams said in her tweet:

“Today is actually the 4 year anniversary of ‘After Laughter‘ (Paramore’s favorite Paramore album). Our manager group texted us to let us know that more folks are streaming it per month now than even in the last couple of years. that is so fucking cool? Thank you.”

She went on to say:

We lived our best life on that album and all the AL tours. I can’t wait to do it again with whatever comes next. Paramore forever and ever. With that, farewell for a while. Take care of yourself. Lose yourself and find yourself again, like I’m going to. See you on the other side.”
