Paramore’s Hayley Williams recently threw his ex-bandmate Josh Farro under the bus for being a ‘homophobe.’

Fans have been posting about the ‘old Paramore’ on social media for a while now. In a recent similar post, a fan humorously shared a photo of the movie ‘Twilight’ crew and wrote:

“I miss the old Paramore.”

The comparison was drawn because both Paramore and the movie feature a trio setup with a female lead. Underneath this post, another fan commented about the band’s albums:

“1. ‘All We Know’ – Goat 2. ‘Riot’ 3. ‘Brand New Eyes’ they slick fell off after that, not gonna lie.”

Williams responded with her recommendations and addressed the issue with one of the albums — that their lyrics were written by a ‘homophobe’:

“Ooh baby love, it’s gonna be alright… When you learn half those songs were co-written by a homophobe it may help you let go a little bit more. Give ‘Part II’ from ‘Self-Titled’ record a try. It’s at least a little more early Paramore-coded.”

Williams’ Earlier Posts About Farro

Even though Farro chose not to say anything about the issue, Hayley Williams continued discussing his ex-bandmate’s opinions.

In an earlier post on X, the singer revealed why there were only three people left in the band, and the reason wasn’t ‘because of her.’ She explained:

“There’s a reason there are only 3 people left in Paramore. Surprise, haters, it ain’t cause of me. Paramore do not condone religiously/politically dogmatic beliefs which leave our LGBTQ+ friends, fans, & family feeling abandoned and hopeless.”
