Guns N’ Roses returned to the top 40 on two different charts in the United Kingdom this week.

The band is always on the charts in many Western countries. They haven’t released a full album in over 15 years but have shared new songs and singles.

Their big hit single and popular album are back in the spotlight. Guns N’ Roses have two spots on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart in the U.K. Their ‘Greatest Hits’ album is at Number 35, and ‘Appetite for Destruction’ has moved from Number 38 to Number 27.

Both albums reached Number 1 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart. They’ve also spent over 1,000 weeks on the chart. ‘Appetite for Destruction’ is close to reaching 1,200 weeks, a milestone few albums will ever reach.

On the Official Rock & Metal Singles chart, Guns N’ Roses now have two spots. ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ drops one place to Number 12, while ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ returns at Number 39.

‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ reached Number 1 and has been on the chart for 832 weeks. ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ made it to Number 6 and has been on the chart for 515 weeks.

Earlier this month, GNR announced tour dates for next summer in the Middle East and Europe. These will be their first shows since ending their 2023 World Tour in Mexico last November. The band posted the dates on Instagram and wrote, “Because what you want N’ what you get are two completely different things. Nightrain pre-sale: tomorrow 9 am local. On-sale: Friday 9 am local.”

The tour will start in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on May 23 and end at the Wacken Festival in Germany on July 31. They will also perform in Turkey, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the UK, and many other countries. Public Enemy, Rival Sons, and Sex Pistols with Frank Carter will join the band on some dates.
