Green Day Releases A Cover Of KISS ‘Rock And Roll All Nite’

Green Day thrilled the fans by releasing a cover version of KISS’ ‘Rock And Roll All Nite’ and announced it via their official Twitter account.

‘Rock And Roll All Nite’ is the lead single of KISS’ ‘Dressed To Kill’ record, which is their third studio album, released back in 1975. The song also appeared in over twenty live & studio records of the band.

The band has been touring with Fall Out Boy and Weezer in ‘Hella Mega Tour.’ They recently finished the North American leg of the tour, waiting to play in Europe in June 2022.

Greed Day added ‘Rock And Roll All Nite’ into their setlist of the ‘Hella Mega Tour’ and played the song in most of their shows. Yesterday, the band released a live version of this track on many music streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Music.

Even though Green Day only released the KISS cover yesterday, this has not been the only cover they have been playing during the shows. They also played Operation Ivy’s ‘Knowledge’ song throughout the tour.

Here is the announcement from Green Day:

The ‘Hella Mega Tour’ may be over (for now), but we’re still driving you crazy with ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ (Live from Hella Mega) out now.”
