Dave Mustaine Names His Favorite Album Of All Time

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine spoke in a recent interview with Loudersound and talked about the ten albums that changed his life.

In the conversation, Dave shortly talked about the albums that influenced his career and life and revealed that the first album he bought was Changesonebowie of David Bowie.

Furthermore, Dave mentioned that UFO’s Phenomenon is reminding him of his high school years and said that Judas Priest’s Sad Wings Of Destiny album defined metal music genre.

Additionally, Dave said that his favorite album of all time is Led Zeppelin’s iconic Presence album and mentioned that there are lots of favorite albums for him, but if you put a gun into his head, he would pick this album for sure.

Here is what Dave Mustaine said about the Presence album:

“For what it’s worth, it’s hard to put my finger on just one record. Diamond Head was such a great band for me. The same goes for a lot of the Mercyful Fate stuff. I remember driving up the highway with Hetfield, listening to Venom and Motörhead all the time.

Those were two bands we liked a lot. But if you put a gun to my head, I’d have to pick Led Zeppelin. Presence is the one that came out when I was becoming a fan, because I was too young when the earlier records came out.”
