Green Day have announced the soundtrack to the upcoming movie NIMRODS and released a brand new single.

“And because every road trip needs some music, here’s something for the ride, a brand new song, ‘I’m Never Gonna R.I.P.,'” they continued.

The film is officially titled Nimrods: A Green Day Comedy. It draws a direct line back to the band’s beloved 1997 album Nimrod — the record that produced some of their most iconic tracks and cemented their place in punk rock history.
The full NIMRODS soundtrack is set to arrive on July 31st. It will feature contributions from Green Day alongside other artists including Analog Dogs and McKenna Grace.
