Green Day Announces The Release Date Of Their New Song, ‘Here Comes The Shock’

Green Day shared a post on its official Instagram page announcing that the band is going to release a brand new song, ‘Here Comes The Shock’ on February 21 in North America, before it is released the rest of the world following day, in addition to performing the new track live at NHL Outdoor games this Saturday.

As many of you know, Green Day’s most recent music release was on February 7, 2020, when the band released their thirteenth studio album ‘Father of All…’ which consisted of ten tracks. The album received mixed reviews from music critics, while Rolling Stone and Kerrang! praised the album giving it four stars out of five, Entertainment Weekly gave the album a middling C–.

Green Day’s last performance was only a few weeks ago when the band performed their three iconic songs, Holiday,’ ‘Basket Case’ and ‘Still Breathing’ at the annual NFL Honors show to mark Super Bowl weekend, outside the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

On top of their live performance, Green Day recently shared a post on its official Instagram page announcing another thrilling news for their fans, apparently, the band is going to release a brand new song named ‘Here Comes The Shock’ this Sunday in North America, and the rest of the world a day after.

In addition to this exciting news, the band also revealed that they are going to perform at the 2021 NHL Outdoor Games at Lake Tahoe this Saturday their new track ‘Here Comes The Shock’ for the first time, even before its release date.
