Gene Simmons Explains His Connection With Dolly Parton
KISS co-founder and bass guitarist Gene Simmons celebrated the 75th birthday of singer, Dolly Parton, by sharing a new post on his official Twitter account.
Although Dolly is known for her beautiful country songs, she is also an actress and businesswoman. Additionally, Dolly had 25 songs that reached the number one spot on Billboard charts, and she sold over 100 millions record worldwide.
While Gene was celebrating this special day for Dolly, one of his fans wondered if they ever met in real life or worked together and asked this question to the legendary bass guitarist.
Gene replied to this question and revealed that they actually shared recording studios when Gene was producing EZO. Also, Gene mentioned Dolly as a sweet soul and showed how a great person she is.

“Have you ever met/worked with Dolly?”
Gene Simmons replied:
“Yes. Met Dolly during the Cher days around 1979. And we shared recording studios when I was producing EZO. A sweet soul.”
