KISS bassist Gene Simmons discussed the ‘Roadie for a Day’ experience package in a recent interview with WIVB.

“This is not for everybody and it ain’t cheap,” Simmons said about the $12,495 package. “It’s also a different world than what I grew up in. Nowadays, if you get a papercut… everybody gets sued.”

The ‘Roadie for a Day’ Experience package gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at KISS’s operations at a premium price point.

Simmons launched this exclusive experience as part of his continued fan engagement following KISS’s farewell tour.

Consequence revealed the package’s comprehensive features. Participants start their day with a personal meet-and-greet with Simmons. They then assist with the show’s setup and participate in soundcheck processes.

Blabbermouth detailed the special treatment participants receive. The experience includes a meal with Simmons at the hotel or backstage. Fans also get an on-stage introduction during the performance.

Each participant receives valuable memorabilia. The package includes a KISS-rehearsal-used bass with Simmons’ signature, a signed setlist, VIP backstage laminate, and crew merchandise.

Guitar World highlighted an alternative option for fans. The ‘Bass Only’ package costs approximately half the price. It includes a meet-and-greet but does not include the roadie duties.
