The Music Universe reported the cancellation of five Gene Simmons solo concerts. The affected cities include Anaheim, Auburn, Magna, Miami Beach, and Houston.

Ticketmaster released a statement to ticket holders: “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. You don’t need to do a thing. We’ll issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, as soon as funds are received from the Event Organizer. It should appear on your account within 14-21 days.”

No official reason emerged for the cancellations. Fans have started speculating that insufficient ticket sales prompted the decision.

Recent developments have lent credibility to these speculations about ticket sales challenges.

Alternative Nation revealed that the Paramount Theater in Denver had sold only 15-20% of available tickets before the cancellations. This pattern suggested broader ticketing issues across multiple venues.

No Treble documented Simmons’ social media engagement before the cancellations. The artist actively sought song requests from fans to boost interest in the tour.

Simmons introduced an exclusive ‘roadie for a day’ package priced at $12,495. The package included perks such as meeting the band and attending soundcheck sessions.

These promotional efforts and special packages indicated ongoing challenges with sales targets. The situation ultimately culminated in the current wave of cancellations.
