Gary Holt recently shared exciting news about upcoming Exodus material. He commented on the band’s progress in a post on Instagram.

Holt revealed that the band has completed filming for three music videos. This marks a significant milestone in their project. He expressed enthusiasm about the creative process and the team involved in bringing the videos to life.

“Amazing video shoot wrap dinner last night! (Jack has a crazy early flight so he skipped the dinner!) and what a great way to end three days, three different videos done! And they’re SICK AF,” Holt said. “I hate making videos. But making them with this group of people and being directed by Jim Louvau makes it actually a blast! Good times, and getting things set to release a mother f*cking monster on everyone.”

The guitarist’s comments signal that Exodus is preparing to release significant new material. The completed videos will accompany the upcoming album rollout. This announcement comes as part of a larger project that has been in development for several months, with the band working on multiple records simultaneously.

Exodus has set a tentative release date of March 20, 2026, for their new album, according to Blunt Magazine. The album serves as the follow-up to 2021’s Persona Non Grata and features returning vocalist Rob Dukes. Napalm Records will release the record, which has been mixed by Mark Lewis.

Holt described the album as spanning “blinding speed to the slowest, heaviest shit.” The PRP reported that the band has produced enough material for nearly two albums. Eighty percent of a follow-up has already been completed. This prolific output demonstrates the creative momentum the band has built with Dukes’ return to the fold.

Holt conveyed the emotional weight of the new material in a November 2025 interview at San Antonio Fear Fest. He stated that the album “makes me wanna cry, it’s so good.” Blabbermouth noted that the three music videos already filmed are expected to be released in the coming months. This will build anticipation for the March 2026 album launch.

With the creative foundation firmly in place and the visual components nearly complete, Exodus appears poised to deliver a significant statement in the metal community next year.
