The new EP, Are Playing Where??? Vol. II, follows the first installment launched last October. That debut volume, Are Playing Where??? Vol. I, compiled live tracks the band had performed across the US earlier in the year.

The six-track release marks the second chapter in the series. It builds on the live archive the band began assembling with the first volume, offering fans a direct window into their smaller-scale performances.

The recordings were captured during the band’s pop-up club shows at Irving Plaza in New York City and Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey. These last-minute, small-venue appearances gave the performances an immediacy and energy that the EP captures in full.

The six tracks featured on the release are Of All People, These Days, Your Favorite Toy, My Hero, Window, and Aurora. The setlist spans different eras of the band’s catalog and reflects the kind of deep-cut selections typically reserved for more intimate settings.

The EP is available on a pay-what-you-want basis. All proceeds are directed to local charities in the cities where the recordings were made — New York City and Sayreville, New Jersey. The charitable component reinforces the community-focused ethos that has defined the Are Playing Where??? project from its inception.
