Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea always blesses his fans with the best stories. His entertaining manners and personality hit fans once again, this time from his Twitter account. This time, his funny story is about a bathroom emergency he encountered while he was at Target, and his adventure after that is enough to make you smile at the screen.

The rockstar life may look glamorous and cool, but upon closer inspection, it’s filled with actions that are socially considered ‘disgusting,’ ‘appalling,’ or ‘stupidly dangerous.’ Flea recently encountered a very ‘rock and roll’ situation, as he sarcastically stated. The bassist wanted to tell the story of how he went to Target but had to urgently find a bathroom.

He stated that after he entered Target, the employees wanted to take photos with him and express their love toward him. However, very instantaneously, he got the urge to use the bathroom and wasn’t feeling well. Hence, he asked around where the bathroom was, and he eventually found out that ten people were queuing for it.

Here is the story as tweeted by Flea:

“More rock star glamour: walked to Target to get nail clippers and a nose hair trimmer. Employees were right on me, asking for selfies and telling me they love me. Two minutes later, I get hit with a major urge to take a shit. They tell me the bathroom is downstairs, I go there, but ten people are in line, and I’m about to soil my trousers. I go to employees and plead, ‘Please, can I use the employees’ bathroom?’

They say no, employees only. I run across the street to some cafe and ask to use the bathroom (on the way there, a guy waiting outside tells me I’m an asshole for not stopping to take a selfie with him). The cafe lady threatens to call security on me for politely asking for a bathroom. I made it by the skin of my teeth to a restaurant a few blocks away. Back to the hotel to practice trumpet.”

Interestingly, the fans didn’t let him go before them, even though this was an emergency, and the bassist had to find other ways to relieve himself. While he tried his luck in a coffee shop, he got kicked out of it and eventually ended up in a restaurant. This left people thinking that fans are only there to take photos and not help a fellow out in times of emergencies.
