Van Halen fans have reacted to the drummer Alex Van Halen’s recent comments about how the other members didn’t ‘do the band justice.’

The news became headliners in several news outlets, and the fans didn’t take it well.

“WTF is his problem. Of course they are. And fans love it. VH brothers were extremely difficult and Roth is absolutely impossible,” one user reacted to Alex’s comment on X. “Well maybe if you had participated, they could have done the band justice. Al seems to have a bug up his ass with Sammy,” music journalist Dave Wight added.

“The more Alex opens his mouth, the less I like him. Sammy made him some serious money. Sammy could also sing in tune, write songs, and perform. Oh, and play well with others,” one other user wrote.

Alex’s comment that caused the backlash came two days ago. “I’m not interested. They’re not doing the band justice. They can do what they want to do. That’s not my business,” the drummer earlier said, responding to why he didn’t want to join the ‘Best Of All Worlds’ tour.

Alex is currently promoting his upcoming memoir, ‘Brothers.’ The book largely overlooks Hagar’s time with Van Halen, as well as that of Extreme vocalist Gary Cherone, and the band’s reunion with Roth that began in 2007.
