Every now and then, or much more often in the Falling in Reverse singer Ronnie Radke’s case, a feud arises between musicians or artists and critics. More recently, Radke seems to have started another feud against music reviewer Anthony Fantano of the Needle Drop after his negative comments about the band’s new track ‘Watch the World Burn.’
The single ‘Watch the World Burn’ dropped last month, and Fantano was quick to criticize the track calling it a ‘really bad rap-metal song’ during his review roundup video of various tracks that included Falling in Reverse’s latest single. If that wasn’t harsh enough, he also said it was ‘gross and tacky as f*ck.’
Radke didn’t take the critique from Fantano all too well, as he went on to Twitter to mock him about his look, his followers, and the career he has built on YouTube. He even pointed out that Fantano would become irrelevant in 2 or 3 years, tops.
Ronnie Radke’s initial tweet responding to Anthony Fantano’s criticism:
“Anthony Fantano is like the Perez Hilton of music critics, he looks 25 years older than he is, and nobody will care about him in 3 years.”
His following tweet read:
“Anthony Fantano also, his followers are paid bots from India; at least they better be, hahaha.”
The vocalist also wrote:
“We all know what happens to mostly negative critic YouTubers; another YouTuber will make a video called ‘what happened to Anthony Fantano’ in 2 years tops.”
This isn’t the first time Radke shared his hard-hitting opinions about others in the industry, considering his ongoing feud with Sebastian Bach about overusing technology in live performances. When Ronnie was criticized for canceling a show after their laptop went missing, he defended himself by giving Bach as an example of using tracks in shows.
It turned into a feud between the musicians, also showing itself in the ‘Watch the World Burn’ music video. In one of the scenes, a laptop comes crashing down from the sky, knocking down a Bach lookalike. So it’s not surprising seeing Radke defend himself and their new track on Twitter against Anthony Fantano.
