It’s a tough pill to swallow for rock enthusiasts as Ronnie Radke, the charismatic frontman of the popular band Falling In Reverse, has again announced the cancellation of an upcoming gig. Sharing the news via the band’s official Instagram, Radke admitted that his vocal cords haven’t fully recovered, forcing him to take an unfortunate step back from the mic.

The gig in question, set to light up the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA, on April 27, is the third show the band has had to pull out of in just a week. First, they missed a performance in Orlando, then another one in St. Augustine, both times due to the same pesky vocal problem plaguing Radke.

After a recent performance at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC, it became abundantly clear to Radke that he needed more time to recover. His voice simply couldn’t handle the strain, and he didn’t want to risk causing more damage.

In the Instagram post that’s been buzzing among the Falling In Reverse fans, the singer regretfully shared the news that he needed to cancel the band’s upcoming show in Stroudsburg. His voice, still aching from the strain, hasn’t fully bounced back, and he understands the potential risk of further damage if he continues to push it.

To soften the blow, he’s arranged for refunds at the point of purchase for the show’s tickets, making it as hassle-free as possible for fans. In an effort to make amends, he’s also set up a special offer. Falling In Reverse is slated to perform in Hershey, PA, on June 29 at the Giant Center, and Radke is extending a sweet deal for this show. Starting from April 27, fans can grab tickets for this concert at just $20 using the Ticketmaster code ‘POPULAR.’

The frontman said the following about the cancellation:

“Sorry, Stroudsburg, but I have to cancel tomorrow’s show. After performing last night, it became clear my voice still hasn’t fully healed, and I can’t risk doing further damage. I really love and care for you guys and appreciate all of you for understanding. Refunds are available at your point of purchase, and we’re also offering $20 tickets to our show in Hershey, PA, on June 29 at Giant Center with Ticketmaster code ‘POPULAR’ starting at 10 am tomorrow, April 27. (Discount code will expire in 10 days).”

Despite the cloud of uncertainty hanging over his voice and the band’s future gigs, Radke is trying his best to keep spirits high. With his heart on his sleeve, he reassures fans that he’s working hard to get back on stage as soon as possible. His message is clear: the show must go on, even if there are a few bumps along the way.
