Former Arch Enemy singer Alissa White-Gluz has announced her latest collaboration. She is joining Ice Nine Kills for a series of live shows.

When asked how her involvement with Ice Nine Kills came to be, Alissa explained the organic nature of the invitation and her enthusiasm for the band’s approach to performance.

“Yeah. So, I had another little surprise for everyone and so I’m doing some shows with Ice Nine Kills because they’re friends of mine and I really love what they do,” she said. “I love when people push the performances to the next level and Ice Nine Kills definitely does that.”

The singer went on to describe how the opportunity came together and what fans can expect from the collaboration.

“And they just asked, ‘Hey, what are you doing in June? We have these shows. Would you like to be a part of them?’ And so I said yes,” she continued. “And we just got together and looked at the songs and we have like something pretty special planned.”

The June 2026 shows with Ice Nine Kills mark Alissa’s third new venture. She previously joined DragonForce and released new music with her new band Blue Medusa.

The collaboration is the latest chapter in a remarkably active period for White-Gluz. She has wasted no time building a new musical identity since parting ways with Arch Enemy.

Just hours after officially announcing her departure from Arch Enemy, White-Gluz unveiled a new solo single, “The Room Where She Died,” complete with a music video. The release signaled a deliberate and immediate shift toward independent projects.

Blue Medusa has also been gaining momentum. Following the group’s debut release, White-Gluz dropped a second single, further cementing Blue Medusa as her primary creative outlet in the post-Arch Enemy chapter of her career.

Her involvement with DragonForce added yet another dimension to her busy schedule. The collaboration came alongside her decision to launch solo work and form Blue Medusa. Together, these moves mark a significant pivot in her trajectory within the heavy metal world.

White-Gluz has been candid about the personal cost of her relentless pace. She has acknowledged that chasing music has come at the expense of family moments she cannot get back. Despite that, she has remained open about her excitement for what lies ahead, stating that she is eager to let her solo work stand on its own.
