Though Marilyn Manson already had a bad reputation regarding his substance addiction and extravagant live performances, recent years have carried his notorious image to the next level. Fifteen women accused the singer of being sexually, psychologically, and physically abusive during their relationships. One of those names was Game of Thrones actress Esme Bianco, who recently spoke about Manson’s actions regarding her business with Deftones.
“Manson threatened the Deftones with actions that would disrupt the band’s world tour and which would have caused the Deftones financial harm,” Bianco said in her complaint. This action was about Bianco’s contract with Deftones that took place in April 2022 to partake in a photo shoot for the band’s coming tour’s artwork.
Apparently, Manson called Deftones singer Chino Moreno after finding out about the photo shoot and contract. The musician wanted the band to reconsider their decision about Bianco, and the band members told the creative director not to use the images of the actress from the shoot.
According to the court documents, the actress continued, “I suffered the loss of exposure from images being used during the Deftones’ world tour, and the lost gig resulted in reputational damage and a loss of future economic opportunity with the Deftones.” Furthermore, the complaint accused Manson of continuing to focus on silencing Esme Bianco through threats and intimidation.
Following these accusations, Manson’s lawyer didn’t release a statement, but the lawsuits against Marilyn Manson have been taking place on numerous headlines. Just recently, Ashley Morgan Smithline’s case, which carried similar accusations about Manson, was dismissed by a California district judge. The rocker’s attorney Howard King thanked the model for her decision not to be manipulated by people who had planned against Manson.
