Eric Clapton’s Daughter Ruth Determined To Continue Her Father’s Legacy
Eric Clapton’s daughter Ruth Clapton took her official Instagram account to share a new post in which she announced that she decided to follow the footsteps of her father and started taking lessons to learn how to play the guitar.
Ruth has been working on her personal blog where she often writes about the insights of her life as a working mother. She also often takes her social media accounts to share personal opinions on various subjects as well as responding to the questions of her and her father’s fans.
In her recent Instagram post, Ruth mentioned that there have been lots of people urging her to start playing guitar and continue the legacy of her father, and apparently, Clapton has started to take lessons for the guitar. While Ruth was pointing out that she doesn’t get these lessons just to play songs, she also wanted her followers to lower their expectations because she is only a beginner.
Furthermore, Ruth revealed that she is taking these lessons just to write her own songs. Afterward, Ruth also shared the latest update of this progress and said that she finished her first guitar lesson yesterday.
Here is what Ruth Clapton wrote:
“I’ve had so many DM’s today and comments about me learning to play guitar and people asking me to play a song and stuff. That’s not going to happen, that’s not what it’s for. It’s just so I can put a melody to the lyrics I write…
I’ve never played before ever so I’m starting absolutely from scratch so everybody, lower your expectations and calm down.”
Ruth also said:
“Guitar lesson done, now out for lunch! Outdoor dining is great and all but I do wish April would remember that it’s April and not January! Over getting all wrapped up now to be honest!”
