Eddie Van Halen’s Widow Janie Says She Has Some Solace In Knowing Eddie Is With Her Mother

Late Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen‘s wife Janie Van Halen shared a post on her official Instagram page in order to celebrate Mother’s Day while doing so, Janie stated that she finds some peace knowing that her late mother isn’t alone, she’s with Eddie and her brother Tom.

As many of you know, Janie Van Halen lived the worst year back in 2020 not just because of the coronavirus pandemic like the rest of the world but because she lost three members of her family, starting from her brother Tom on June 17, 2020.

While Janie was still recovering from losing a sibling, the disastrous news shook the world just as much as her since it was announced that her husband, legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen passed away on October 6, 2020, after losing his long battle with throat cancer.

On top of going through the loss of the love of her life and a brother, Janie Van Halen once again shared a piece of heartbreaking news to her fans via an Instagram post and revealed that her mother passed away on 23 November 2020.

For this year’s Mother’s Day, Janie Van Halen shared a picture of her mother on her official Instagram page while revealing a message to her deceased mom who passed away 6 months ago. While Janie finds it hard to live without her mother, she stated that she finds comfort in thinking that she isn’t alone, she is with her son-in-law Eddie and son Tom.

Here is what Janie said:

Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day Mom. You left us 6 months ago and it’s still so very hard to comprehend that you are not here and why you had to leave so soon. We have some solace in knowing that you are celebrating today with Martin, Tom, and Ed. We love you and miss you so so much and wish you were here with us.”
