Tommy Lee received criticism for posting about Mötley Crüe’s four private jets.
The drummer recently took to Instagram and shared a photo including four jets for each member. He wrote in the caption:
“Sh*t, people are gonna think the Mötley Crüe guys don’t get along rollin’ like this with each guy in their own PJ.”
People’s Reaction To The Rocker’s Post
Lee faced backlash from the users on the platform because of their indifference to the environment. One person said in their comment:
“Tell me you’re out of touch with reality without telling me. Read all the books. Watched the movie. This is just narcissistic and egotistical.”
Another one also found the post egoistical:
“Celebs bragging over irrelevant sh*t. I liked it better when there wasn’t social media so we didn’t really hear or see the ego.”
One other individual added:
“This is not a flex, this shows your disregard for the environment.”
Another user also referred to its negative impact on the environment:
“Nah, just don’t give a flying f*ck about the environment. Sad.”
This Is Not The First Time He Received Backlash
The musician also got in trouble for slamming Donald Trump over selling Bibles. Seth Meyers joked about it on his Late Night show and connected it to Trump’s legal problems. Lee shared the clip on Instagram and commented:
“And if you believe this guy or this book will save you, you might need to f*cking buy 2 or 3… Just in time for Easter, hurry!”
Most people didn’t like Lee’s criticism of the ex-president. One person said:
“Stick to music, Tommy.”
Another user added:
“Getting political advice from Tommy Lee is about as ‘bottom of the barrel’ as you can get.”
One other individual also advised Tommy to focus on his own matters:
“How many Ferraris and mansions and hookers and bags of coke have you bought hocking merchandise over the years? Maybe consider staying in your lane on this one.”
The drummer is getting ready to hit the stage with Mötley Crüe after his hand surgery. The band will perform shows at Summerfest and at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in June.
