Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder had a health scare during a recent cruise performance and required medical assistance. His manager provided details about the situation in a statement to Ultimate Classic Rock.

“Don experienced a medical episode last night during the show. He received medical attention and was deemed to be suffering from dehydration,” he explained.

Felder was performing as part of the Rock Legends Cruise. His Thursday night show started normally, but, during ‘Tequila Sunrise,’ the seventh song in his set, he got unsteady and stumbled while approaching the microphone. Medical staff quickly intervened and helped him off the stage as the audience looked on.

According to his manager, Felder was placed in quarantine to recover but is expected to return to performing soon. “By medical rules of the cruise, he’ll be in quarantine for the next 24 hours to rest. Arrangements are being made for him to play on Saturday and Sunday,” the statement read.

The Rock Legends Cruise is scheduled to continue until February 17, with Alice Cooper, Styx, John Waite, Foghat, and Robin Trower included. Felder also has upcoming performances in March and April before embarking on a nationwide tour with Styx and Kevin Cronin.
