Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares has announced the timeline for the band’s highly anticipated new album featuring their new vocalist Milo Silvestro. He shared details in a recent interview with TotalRock.
Cazares addressed fans’ curiosity about the release schedule and provided an update on the album’s current production status.
“Everybody wants to know. So the record will be out next year,” Cazares said. “We’re done tracking it. All that’s left now is to mix the record. We’re obviously on tour right now, so when we can get home later on this month, we’ll start mixing the album.”
The guitarist also provided a more specific timeframe for the release.
“Everybody wants to know the date. I would say in time for the summer festivals next year,” he continued.
This will mark Fear Factory’s first studio album with new singer Milo Silvestro. The band continues their touring schedule while preparing to complete the mixing process.
The upcoming release represents a significant milestone for Fear Factory. The band has undergone major lineup changes in recent years. Blabbermouth reported that Cazares emphasized the album’s sound will stay true to Fear Factory’s roots. Silvestro’s vocal style is reminiscent of original vocalist Burton C. Bell, promising fans a classic Fear Factory experience.
The band’s new lineup also features drummer Pete Webber. He joined alongside Silvestro. Blabbermouth noted that Webber hails from the thrash metal scene with band Havok. He has earned praise as a “killer drummer” dubbed “Pete The Feet” by the band members.
Fear Factory is currently balancing their creative process with touring commitments. MetalSucks revealed that the band is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their landmark album Demanufacture on a European tour. They are combining nostalgia with the anticipation of fresh material.
The new lineup made their live debut in early 2023 when Fear Factory toured the U.S. supporting Static-X. The PRP confirmed that this tour marked Silvestro and Webber’s first run of shows with the band. They are preparing to fully reinvigorate their discography with new material.
