Def Leppard Share A Video Of Their Favorite Stadium Tour Moments

After the success of ‘The Stadium Tour’ in North America, which sold more than 1.3 million tickets and ended last month, the two legendary bands Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe announced their co-headlining world tour that will kick off in 2023. To celebrate the good moments they had on ‘The Stadium Tour,’ Def Leppard shared a video with their fans to express their thoughts on the tour and recall the special moments they shared with Mötley Crüe.
“36 shows are finished and done,” said Joe Elliot with a proud smile. “What was my favorite moment of this tour? I can honestly say 36 times the opening of the set. When we’re stood behind that screen, and it starts to go up on the beginning of ‘Take What You Want,’ it’s the most satisfying moment because we are going on stage in front of anywhere between 30 and 40.000 people playing a brand new song on a Stadium Tour.”
Elliott continued, “It has meant so much to us. It wasn’t just a nostalgia fest; it would have been had we done the tour in 2020. We’d have no new music, but the pandemic gave us the opportunity to write a new record. To be able to play three new songs made our hearts sing so much.”
The band’s recent video gave their fans a chance to listen to every band member’s most cherished memories from the tour. This also excited the fans looking forward to Def Leppard’s upcoming tour, as they wanted to take a peek at what happened in the first leg.
Since Def Leppard has been in the industry for years, the feeling of performing a new track from their latest album seems to have been refreshing. ‘Diamond Star Halos,’ which became a massive hit by debuting at No. 1 on the US Billboard Hard Rock Chart and No. 10 on the Billboard 200, has made the tour even more special.
