Dee Snider Praises Lzzy Hale’s ‘God-Like Vocals’

Twisted Sister icon Dee Snider replied to Lzzy Hale‘s tweet about their previous collaboration and said that he is very delighted to work with her. Snider also praised Hale’s powerful vocals by describing them as ‘god-like.’

Dee Snider and Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale teamed up last year and released ‘The Magic of Christmas Day.’ The track was actually a part of Celine Dion’s 1998 Christmas album. Snider decided to rearrange it into a more rock-oriented sound.

The song was, in fact, written by Dee for his wife and he didn’t have a plan to release it. Later on, Snider offered it to a producer, and then it reached Celine Dion in some way. Dion really liked the song and wanted to include it in her recordings. After Dion, Dee Snider thought that he should also record it and he went to Lzzy Hale to accompany him with her impressive vocals.

In her Twitter account, Lzzy Hale shared the last year’s recording to give a Christmas present to her fans. Dee Snider saw her tweet and replied by saying every part of working on this song was amazing for him. Following that, the Twisted Sister frontman gave credit to Lzzy Hale for her great contribution and said that she boosted the track with her ‘god-like vocals.’

Dee Snider’s Twitter post read:

“Certainly not me! I am so happy with this recording! Great production and playing Jeff Pilson! Amazing guitar solo Dan Peters! Righteous drumming Brian Tichy! And last but not least god-like vocals Ms. Lzzy Hale! You Lit This Track Up!”
