Death Angel has announced their return through Nuclear Blast Records with their first new song in six years on their official YouTube channel.
“Our new song ‘Wrath (Bring Fire)’ is out now,” the band stated in their official announcement. “Give it a listen and get ready for our Summer of Wrath tour!”
The release marks the band’s first new material since 2017. This signals their active return to the metal scene.
Death Angel is preparing for a significant touring schedule and special performances in the coming months.
Chaoszine revealed the band will launch their “Summer of Wrath” European tour in June 2025. The tour includes appearances at prestigious events such as Gelsenkirchen’s Rock Hard Festival and Dessel’s Graspop Metal Meeting.
The Bay Area thrash metal veterans released their last full-length album “Humanicide” in 2019. The band has since focused on live performances instead of new recordings.
Metal Gigs confirmed Death Angel will host their 10th Annual Another Death Angel Xmas Show in December 2025. The band will perform their album “Act III” in its entirety at The Fillmore in San Francisco.
The release of “Wrath (Bring Fire)” opens a new chapter for the band. This could lead to their first full album release in several years.
