David Gilmour’s Wife Polly Hints At A New Collaboration Of David With Phil Manzanera In Her Latest Post

Pink Floyd legend David Gilmour‘s wife Polly Samson posted a picture of well-known musician and record producer Phil Manzanera on her Instagram account taken during a visit to the Gilmour house, which excited the fans about a possible new collaboration of David with Phil.

As you may know, David Gilmour’s wife and talented author Polly Samson have been married to the novelist Polly Samson for more than 28 years now. The couple has four children, Charlie, Joe, Gabriel, and Romany. Besides her successful career as an author, Polly has an interest in photography.

Samson takes her Instagram account every day since the beginning of 2021 to share daily moments of the Gilmour family by using the hashtag saying ‘something in my eye.’ She has been posting a photo for each day of the year which sometimes displays her family while sometimes including their long-time friends visiting their house.

Recently on Instagram, Polly Samson shared a picture of Phil Manzanera, who co-produced Gilmour’s third solo album, ‘On an Island,’ back in 2006. Manzanera also played with David while he was touring in North America and Europe. Samson was the primary songwriter on the ‘On an Island’ album.

The Gilmour fans shared several comments on her post wondering if Phil was visiting them to work on an upcoming album of David Gilmour. Yet, the fans’ questions were left unanswered by Polly which was still enough to make them excited about possible new music from the Pink Floyd legend.
