David Gilmour Announces The Dates For Online Streaming Of ‘Mick Fleetwood And Friends’ Concert
Pink Floyd guitarist and co-lead vocalist David Gilmour shared a post on his official Instagram page announcing the exact dates for the release of the upcoming film of the tribute concert in which Gilmour performed with musicians, such as Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler to celebrate Fleetwood Mac’s Peter Green.
As you might remember, in order to celebrate the music of Peter Green who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 73, and the early years of Fleetwood Mac, a number of iconic musicians gathered for a special concert on February 25, 2020, at the London Palladium.
David Gilmour shared a post on his official Twitter page in November 2020, revealing the exciting news about his exclusive performance, and announced that the film of the legendary concert will be in theatres next year in March.
Here is what Gilmour said:
“In February this year, David joined guests assembled by Mick Fleetwood to celebrate Fleetwood Mac founder Peter Green. The film of this joyous concert will be shown exclusively in cinemas worldwide in March 2021.”
While fans were waiting for the exact dates in order to see the tribute concert for Peter Green which was full of legendary musicians such as Neil Finn, Noel Gallagher, Billy Gibbons, Kirk Hammett, John Mayall, Christine Mcvie, Steven Tyler, and many more, David Gilmour shared a post on his official Instagram page announcing the details about the upcoming film.
Apparently, the film of the tribute concert is going to be streamed online on April 24 and is coming to cinemas in Australia and New Zealand on March 25 and fans cannot wait to see the iconic musicians on stage all together.
