David Coverdale of Whitesnake recently shared a series of tweets about taking a break due to difficulties with the app. Expressing his frustration, the first tweet read:

“Anyone else having difficulty posting on Twitter?”

The guitarist responded to a reply he got for his first tweet. The fan tweet said:

“Not today dear! East Coast had problems yesterday! Lasted like 2 hours! But you posts are coming through!”

Coverdale’s response read:

“Yes…but, only after multiple postings…strange…more shenanigans, I suspect…”

A few hours after the latest tweet, he shared another one stating to be taking a step back. The tweet read:

“Afraid the old Twitter bird is getting on one’s nerves this fine day… Not sure what their deal is but before I lose it, I’d like to wish you and yours a cool and sexy evening… Wherever you are… Know you are appreciated & loved… Look at you… You sexy b*stards! Cheers!”

The Whitesnake founder shared a picture on Instagram with a description similar to the one he tweeted, without mentioning any intention of taking a break. Our guess is that he won’t be stepping back from the platform the way he did on Twitter.

Like Coverdale, many other people seem to have encountered the same issue. Ever since Elon Musk took Twitter over, some users have been facing problems such as not being able to post or send any messages. The users later have been told they had exceeded a daily limit of tweets.

Following the glitches, Instagram’s new Twitter-like app Threads has been gaining popularity among Twitter users, which might lead to higher use of the app.
