Dave Sabo Says Skid Row Would Love To Replace Whitesnake On Scorpions Tour

In a recent interview with The Metal Voice, Skid Row’s Dave ‘Snake’ Sabo shared his thoughts about wanting to play with Scorpions again on their upcoming tour.

Scorpions released their nineteenth studio album titled ‘Rock Believer‘ on February 25, 2022. The album got positive reviews from fans and critics. To promote their new album, Scorpions announced the ‘Rock Believer’ North American tour with Whitesnake. However, Whitesnake had to withdraw from the tour due to David Coverdale’s ongoing upper respiratory infection.

After the news broke out that Whitesnake was no longer a part of the tour, all eyes turned to Scorpions as to how they planned to continue with the tour. When asked about a possible collaboration with Skid Row to replace Whitesnake, Dave ‘Snake’ Sabo said they wouldn’t say no.

He added that they had a fantastic run in Las Vegas with Scorpions, so he would love the opportunity to play with them again. Sabo also noted that they respect and value each other, so having any offer from Scorpions would be appreciated. Finally, Sabo said it would be an honor to share the stage with their long-term friends.

Dave ‘Snake’ Sabo’s thoughts on playing with Scorpions again:

“I would love to get that phone call; I’m hoping we do at some point. It would be amazing; time is running short. We had an amazing time with Scorpions in Las Vegas, they treated us with absolute respect, and we’ve known them for a long time, so they’re friends, and we think the world of them. So any offer would be greatly appreciated. Obviously, well, we have such great admiration for them that it would be an honor to play with them again.”
