In September 2022, Dave Navarro told fans he had been dealing with long-term COVID-19 effects for a while. He announced that Troy Van Leeuwen would fill in for him on the Spirits On Fire tour.

More recently, the rocker rejoined the band even though he is not fully healed yet.

The frontman Perry Farrell shared his thoughts on his bandmate’s return in a post on Instagram. He wrote:

“It’s impossible to try and put this feeling into words, it needs to be felt to be understood. I love my brothers – we have a few tickets left for the European tour. North American fans, we just launched a tour for you today. I miss you greatly. If you want to buy tickets ahead of the general on sale use the password REDEMPTION. I can’t wait to see you all soon.”

In other news, Jane’s Addiction recently made a comeback with their first new music in years with a new song called ‘Imminent Redemption.’ The song is their first in years with their original lineup. You can hear it down below.
