Courtney Love recently ended her social media hiatus with a series of TikTok videos, but she left the fans wondering if it’s genuine.
The singer said the following in one of her videos:
“Okay, I think that’s good. I don’t wanna give too much away because you’re just getting fifteen seconds of clips to give you, and mine has been a mistake. I’m not on any social media. I’m never checking this thing. I’ll just dump a few little clips, and I hope that you get a vibe. I’m gonna put one more in.”
Love’s Upcoming Musical Release
Referring to her previous videos where she teased some new music, Love continued:
“I’m not organized. Some sort of randomly picking. It must be for mum, how to use the f*cking internet. Anyway, good night. Enjoy what I’ve gifted you so far. There is so much more to come, but I think that’s the longest record that’s ever been written in the history of rock. So it better be f*cking good, no filler.”

In another video, she explained his reason for breaking her social media silence, noting:
“It’s Courtney, hi. I’m not going to have an official TikTok. I’m just gonna upload some teasers from my album that’s coming out… Christmas, if we’re lucky. I’m just gonna upload some teasers. This is not an official page. If you get this in your For You page, then the AI is listening. There’s just some songs, little bits… I’m not giving too much away from my album, which is probably out Christmas.”
Love then went on to post numerous short video clips, frequently showing her listening to the music, occasionally lip-syncing, and at other times singing along to the songs.
Some fans’ comments under her post showed that Courtney’s return to social media, as highlighted in her TikTok videos, has left some fans wondering if the account is genuine or if it could be fake. They voiced their skepticism about the authenticity of the singer’s social media presence.
Her Previous Releases
Courtney’s only solo album was ‘America’s Sweetheart’ in 2004. Her last release using the Hole band name was ‘Nobody’s Daughter’ in 2010. She released a few singles in 2014 and 2015, but she hasn’t released a complete album until now.
There have been a few delays along her musical journey. For instance, there were talks about reuniting the core ’90s Hole lineup. Love has also been occupied with writing a book. However, it appears that her highly anticipated album will finally be coming sooner rather than later.
