Alicia Taylor recently recalled her bus driver’s harassing words in a new video shared on her band Cherry Bombs’ YouTube channel. While she and her bandmates were talking about touring, music, and the incidents they had during the shows and on the road, Taylor recalled the incident that made her think Corey Taylor would kill the bus driver. What triggered her was one text message her bus driver sent:
“‘You’re a super awesome chick with a great personality,’ wait for it, ‘Oh and you have the prettiest feet by the way.’ It was really uncomfortable. The first thing I thought was, ‘My husband’s going to murder you.’ And now, I have to now I have to live on my bus and constantly wear socks.”
Taylor Was ‘Done’ With the Bus Driver
Besides the foot incident she had been through, the rocker also had some other incidents that became the last straw for her. In fact, this one incident caused the band to be late for their next venue. It was one of the crew members who first realized one incident was on its way to come:
“One of my crew members had an app on his phone that showed all the starting and stopping points of where we were on our drive. So, he brought up his app and he was like, ‘We stopped at this location for like a really long time last night.'”
Due to a mistake the bus driver made, the band was late for their show. Taylor continued:
“And then, he heard the bus driver the next morning in the hotel lobby complaining about how he had to go back to the massage parlor that he was at earlier in the day because he left his Airpods there and they wouldn’t give them back. And he was going to fight the bouncer at this massage parlor and that’s what took so long. So, that’s what made us late to the next venue. And I heard this and by this point I was pretty done with him.”
