Corey Feldman was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital following a medical emergency aboard a flight.

Paramedics met Feldman at the gate upon his arrival on a flight from Chicago to LAX on Monday afternoon. Doctors suspect the issue may be pancreatitis or gallstones.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the airport for a patient experiencing a medical emergency. A spokeswoman confirmed that the patient, a 54-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Feldman had been active in the days leading up to the incident, traveling to the Midwest as part of activities surrounding the 40th anniversary celebration of the film Stand By Me. He was in Chicago and Gary, Indiana — the hometown of Michael Jackson — before boarding the flight that ended in his emergency admission.

Doctors are working to determine the exact cause of his condition. Medical staff suspect either pancreatitis or gallstones, and Feldman is undergoing an MRI to assess the severity of the issue. He is resting overnight at the facility as test results are awaited.

His publicist confirmed that Feldman is resting and undergoing various tests at the medical facility. No formal statement has been issued by his family, and Feldman himself has not publicly commented as of June 16. The situation remains developing as those around him await clarity from the medical team.
