BulletBoys singer Marq Torien recently discussed the band’s reunion and future plans. He shared his excitement about the group’s recent performances and potential new music in an interview with The Metal Voice.
The singer addressed whether the recently reunited band has plans to release new music any time soon. He expressed enthusiasm about both their current shows and future possibilities.
“The reunion of the original BulletBoys is very exciting for all of us. We’re all stoked. We just got finished playing three sold-out shows, and it’s just been amazing,” Torien said.
The frontman indicated that while new music is definitely planned, the band is taking a measured approach to their comeback.
“New music, it is definitely on the horizon. But we’re trying to walk before we run. And I think the most important thing right now is just getting out there, the four of us, and doing some shows and making it happen that way. But we’re really, really excited about it,” he continued.
Torien also took time to acknowledge the band’s supporters and address critics with a positive message.
“I wanna thank all the fans, friends, family, everybody that’s just been synonymous with love and giving us nothing but really amazing, uplifting things in their comments and stuff. And there’s a lot of ‘blue meanies’, I call ’em, out there, but that’s okay, ’cause ‘blue meanies’, you know how you destroy them? With love,” he said.
This reunion marks a significant milestone for the band, which has experienced several lineup changes over the years. Blabbermouth reported that the original lineup—Torien, Mick Sweda, Vic Vencent, and Lonnie D’Anda—returned to the live stage for the first time in more than four years on December 19, 2025, at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, Illinois.
The band followed up with performances on December 20 at The Vault in Saginaw, Michigan, and December 28 at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California. This reunion comes after the band’s previous attempt lasted from mid-December 2019 until January 2022, when Sweda and D’Anda exited the group.
Guitarist Mick Sweda’s return this time came after securing new agreements with the band. Blabbermouth noted that Sweda explained his decision to rejoin: “I love playing with these guys. And we’ve come to some agreements that weren’t necessarily on the table before. And suffice to say that it’s pretty momentous for all of us.”
The guitarist’s return was particularly significant as he had previously wanted to secure his portion of the BulletBoys name before agreeing to the latest reunion. This business arrangement appears to have cleared the way for a more stable lineup moving forward.
The reunion appears to be off to a strong start with sold-out performances. This sets the stage for potential new material from the reformed lineup. With the original members back together and new agreements in place, BulletBoys seems positioned for a successful comeback after years of uncertainty.
