Brian May Shares A New Version Of Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ ‘As You Never Heard It Before’

Queen lead guitarist Brian May shared a video on his official Instagram page revealing the performance of a guitar cover version of Queen’s monumental song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ by Generation Axe including himself in addition to stating that for those who have never watched the performance, it’s unlike anything they have ever heard of.

Generation Axe is a rock/heavy metal supergroup formed by guitarist Steve Vai in 2016, including other legendary members such as Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde, iconic guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, Animals as Leaders guitarist Tosin Abasi, and Extreme lead guitarist Nuno Bettencourt.

For an episode of ‘At Home And Social With Nuno Bettencourt & Friends,’ Nuno Bettencourt was joined by his Generation Axe tourmates Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Tosin Abasi in order to perform Queen’s iconic song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ in addition to inviting Brian May for their performance back in August 2020.

The fabulous performance was aired on Axs Tv as an episode of Bettencourt’s show, and Brian May recently shared a post on his official Instagram page revealing the complete video in which a few of the greatest guitarists perform ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ including himself. May stated that his fans never heard ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ like this version before.
