The announcement comes as the band continues its comeback with the Forever Tour.

Bon Jovi had not toured since 2022 while frontman Jon Bon Jovi recovered from a throat issue that affected his voice. He underwent a medialization thyroplasty surgery, in which an implant was placed on his vocal cord to rebuild it. His recovery was documented in the 2024 Hulu documentary Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.

The band released the album Forever on June 7, 2024, but touring was not yet possible at that time. Bon Jovi explained that while he could sing in the studio, the demands of touring remained beyond his reach during his vocal recovery. The Forever Tour launched in 2026 with sold-out shows across major venues. The band played nine shows at Madison Square Garden, three at Wembley Stadium, and additional stadium shows in Edinburgh and Dublin.

The band has now released Forever (Legendary Edition), an all-star reimagining of the 2024 album that features collaborations with Bruce Springsteen on “Hollow Man,” as well as Jelly Roll, James Bay, and Avril Lavigne. The edition also includes a brand-new opening track called “Red, White & Jersey.”
