Billy Graziadei, founding member of the hardcore band Biohazard, recently announced that the band is back in the studio working on new material.

Graziadei shared the following on social media: “Locked down in the studio with these killerz! It’s been blurry few days, endless with no daylight! Focused on closing in on a banger of a record!!”

This will be the follow-up to their 2012 album ‘Reborn in Defiance’ and the first new release since Evan Seinfeld rejoined the band in 2022.

Late last month, Biohazard guitarist Bobby Hambel confirmed in an interview that he and his bandmates would be entering the studio ‘in a couple of weeks’ to begin recording their new album. “After playing together — what is it? — f*cking year and a half, I think we’re ready to lay it down, to start puking out some more f*cking stuff,” Bobby said. “It’s happening, too. It’s heavy sh*t, too.”

The first reunion show featuring Graziadei, Hambel, Schuler, and Seinfeld took place on May 26, 2023, at the Milwaukee Metal Fest at The Rave/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In 2022, Graziadei mentioned in an interview that there had been some talking about bringing Biohazard back together.

The band, known as one of the pioneers of blending hardcore punk, heavy metal, and elements of hip-hop, had been away from the public eye since Scott Roberts left more than eight years ago.
