Guns N’ Roses icon Axl Rose recently made a rare appearance on social media by sharing a post on his official Twitter account and celebrated his bandmate, Duff McKagan‘s 56th birthday.

The legendary hard rock band Guns N’ Roses was formed by the members of Hollywood Rose, Axl Rose, and Izzy Stradlin, along with L.A. Guns members, Tracii Guns, Rob Garnder, and Ole Beich, in March 1985. Later in June, Slash was asked to join the newly-founded Guns N’ Roses along with Duff McKagan and Steven Adler replacing the founding members.

The iconic frontman of Guns N’ Roses have never been an active user of social media platforms, however, Rose has recently made a rare appearance for a special occasion. In his official Twitter account, Axl Rose posted a tweet to celebrate his bandmate Duff McKagan’s birthday, which is on February 5th.

However, in his tweet, Axl preferred not to write a long birthday message, instead, he simply wrote happy birthday to Duff by adding many exclamation points. On the other hand, McKagan has remained silent and hasn’t posted any response to his longtime bandmate’s birthday message yet.

Here is what Axl Rose stated in his tweet:

Happy Birthday Duff!!!”
