Axl Rose And Flea Mourn The Death Of Their Vocal Coach Ron Anderson
The successful vocal coach Ron Anderson, who has worked many great names in the music industry, passed away on December 19 and saddened his family, fans, and students. Axl Rose and Flea paid their respects and stated their sadness over his passing through their social media accounts.
Ron Anderson had a special place in the Red Hot Chili Peppers scene. The vocalist of the band, Anthony Kiedis, mentioned Anderson in 2012 and stated that he owes all his vocal talents and skills to his coach. Anthony said that when he started to sing, he was not in control and lacked technique, but Kiedis became the vocalist he is today after working with Ron and said he looked forward to working with him for the rest of his life.
Unfortunately, that wish couldn’t come true as the vocal coach recently passed away. His death became known when his students started to post mourning paragraphs online, and the cause of his death has not yet been revealed. He not only had a huge impact on the RHCP members but also on Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose. The GN’R frontman expressed his sadness upon hearing the news as well.
He stated his respects for his friends and family and said Ron’s talents couldn’t be described in words. Further stating that he was there for him no matter what, he couldn’t help but elaborate on how much he had missed him already. Another message came from Flea from his Instagram account with similar admiration towards the coach.
Here are Axl’s words:
“Very sad to learn of the passing of my friend and vocal coach Ron Anderson. I knew Ron for 35 years. He was always there when I needed him. To say Ron knew his craft is a huge understatement. My condolences to Ron’s family, friends, and everyone who knew and worked with Ron. Thanks, Ron, for always having the right answer when it was needed most! You’re already missed! However, good God’s choir might be. I know you’ll make it a hell of a lot better!
Love and respect.”
And here are Flea’s words:
“We all in Chili Pepper world spent a lot of time with this man Ron Anderson. He was kind, helpful, hilarious, yarn spinning, operatic, deeply knowledgeable, the beauty of a dude. He just passed away, and my heart is full of appreciation for his time here on earth. Bless his wild and generous heart.”
It seems like the death of a figure who hugely impacted their career was devasting for these two bands, as they clearly looked forward to working with him forever. Anthony Kiedis didn’t say a word about Ron Anderson’s passing, but it must have affected him a lot as well. Judging by how he previously talked about Ron, difficult times await the singer.
