Avril Lavigne Teams Up With Mark Hoppus, Machine Gun Kelly, And Travis Barker

Avril Lavigne posted a tweet to announce that she will be releasing a new music collaboration with Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Machine Gun Kelly.

The Queen of Punk Pop’s latest album, ‘Head Above Water,’ was released in 2019, and since then, her fans have been excitedly waiting for a new product. This time, Lavigne won’t just delight her fans with a new song, but the singer announced that she has collaborated with some of the biggest names of the music industry.

Even though Lavigne has started making music again, her fans were disappointed as they hadn’t received any updates on her upcoming album. Because of the pandemic, many shows have been scheduled, rescheduled, and canceled. Thus, Avril’s reluctance to release an album followed by a promotion tour makes sense for some fans.

Halloween is a perfect day for entertainment, and the Avril-Travis-MGK team seems to be taking advantage of it. They released the trailer of their collaboration on Twitter yesterday and encouraged their fans to purchase the tickets and watch them online.

Here is what she tweeted:

“Trick or treat? Teaming up with Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, Machine Gun Kelly, Black Bear, Jxden, and Iann Dior for a global Halloween live stream event on Oct. 28. Grab tickets below!”

Even though many fans are excited about seeing her perform again, most people reacted negatively to this news and accused the Queen of Punk of stalling. A fan made fun of her age and stated that she might have amnesia.

The angry fan replied to the announcement stating:

“Where is the AL7? Did you forget you promised us an album? Thirty-seven years old and already have amnesia?”

The fans were excited when Lavigne revealed that she would be releasing new music in a month or two during an interview with Yungblud. However, her devoted fanbase has been expecting some details about the album or a single, and it seems like they are running out of patience.
