Heart’s Ann Wilson has announced her second studio collaboration with her band Tripsitter, Consecrated Ground. The album is set for release on August 14, alongside a new single titled I Will Not Be Coming Back.
“Our new single is out now! New record Aug 14. Let us know what you think of ‘I Will Not Be Coming Back,'” the announcement read.
“Consecrated Ground is a fearless collection of songs that blends heavy rock, psychedelia, blues and raw emotional storytelling,” it continued.
I Will Not Be Coming Back serves as both the lead single and the opening track on the nine-song record. It sets the tone for what Wilson and Tripsitter have built across the full album. The complete tracklist for Consecrated Ground is: I Will Not Be Coming Back, Bone Pain, Me And Comanche, Hard Fought, Ruby Rosé (Lady Of The Night), Hot Foot, Dissonance, Renaissance Kids, and Reverse Chaos.
Consecrated Ground is the follow-up to Another Door, the debut collaboration between Wilson and Tripsitter released in 2023. That record established the partnership and laid the groundwork for the heavier, more expansive sound the duo is now pursuing on their second effort together.
Wilson and Tripsitter have also announced a 15-date North American fall tour running from September through October. The run opens on September 11 at the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center in The Villages, Florida. It closes on October 9 at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut, with stops across the eastern half of the continent in between.
The tour will take the band through a mix of theater and mid-size venues. With a new album, a lead single already available on all streaming platforms, and a full tour confirmed, the Consecrated Ground campaign is fully underway ahead of its August 14 release date.
