Andy Biersack supported WWE’s Rhea Ripley over her new look inspired by him and Chris Motionless.

“Actually I LOVE myself a lot more now…,” Ripley wrote on X about her transformation. “I HATED and still HATE how I looked in the first pic. So please, and not so kindly… Go f*ck yourself! Project your toxic ‘masculinity’ and straight up insecurities elsewhere.”

Then, a user shared a video of Ripley talking about her look. In the video, she reveals that she likes listening to bands like Black Veil Brides and Motionless In White. So, Rhea started to dress like the band members she liked.

Andy reacted to this video, writing, “This rules. It can be tough for anyone who’s in the public sphere at a young age to find that authenticity. People push you into aesthetic and idealistic corners. She’s obviously killing it and I’m honored to know we could inspire in any small way on that journey.”

Last year, Ripley changed her look in WWE, going from a rookie with blonde hair to the Women’s World Champion with a gothic style, as The Sportster reported.

In an interview on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast, Ripley shared, “I wanted to cut my hair for a long time, but I was so scared. It’s such a scary thing, I always use my hair to hide behind, but one of the guys at the PC was like, ‘I think you’d rock short hair. Just do it.'”

She added, “And I was like, ‘alright I’m gonna do it.’ So I cut my hair, and gradually it got shorter every week. Every NXT show, it got shorter and shorter. But I think I just finally started accepting who I was, and not caring what everyone else thought of me.”

Ripley’s change in look and style surprised fans and critics. At first, some were doubtful, but her new persona helped her become one of WWE’s biggest viral stars. Her TikTok exploded in popularity.
